Local Business Leaders Awarded for their Success

NextGen founder Carmen Jacob was on hand at the Salute to Excellence in Business Awards at the Ritz-Carlton in St. Louis yesterday. The event was sponsored by the St. Louis American Foundation, St. Louis RCGA, and the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis. Minority leaders in the community were honored for their efforts to improve regional economic growth.

NextGen Staff Gather to Hear New Opportunities and Plan for the Future

This week, NextGen's entire staff got together at the St. Louis headquarters. Team members arrived from Denver, Chicago, and Florida to discuss the past year and make goals for the next year. We’re really excited to open up more opportunities for skilled professionals around the country, to continue growing closer with our existing clients, and to begin working with new clients. 

 NextGen staff work on creative new ways to better serve our clients and employees.

St. Louis’ Premiere Staffing, Recruiting, Consulting Firm Celebrates 15 years of Success and Launch of Their New Brand!

St. Louis, Mo – Nov.5, 2012---NextGen Information Services, Inc., a staffing, recruiting and consulting firm specializing in IT recruiting, is celebrating its 15 year anniversary, downtown business partnerships, and dedication to diversity. NextGen and their partners will celebrate with a special fundraising event, beginning at 5 pm, Nov. 8th, at 906 Olive Street, in the Frisco Building. Numerous business leaders from St. Louis will gather to help commemorate NextGen’s history of success and the firm’s commitment to diversity in the workplace as well as to St. Louis businesses and local charities. The reception includes a gallery showcase of St. Louis artists, where art can be bought and a percentage of the proceeds will go to St. Patrick Center, the South City Open Studio and Gallery (SCOSAG) and the United Way. Representatives from these organizations will also be in attendance.  

Carmen Jacob, a native of Guatemala who came to the United States in 1972 and President of NextGen, will speak to about 100 guests regarding the company’s commitment to diversity in the workplace. NextGen is a Certified Minority and Woman Owned Enterprise and has received numerous awards throughout the years by Inc. Magazine,, and the St. Louis Business Journal for their efforts and achievements. Lori Eaton, NextGen’s Vice President, will also introduce the firm’s unique new business platform, logo, branding efforts and pledge to “all things St. Louis.” According to Eaton, “About a year ago we were looking to expand and move our offices and made the corporate decision to stay in St. Louis and specifically downtown. We are thrilled with that choice and excited about our work with our large clients, the emerging IT organizations and small businesses now in St. Louis, as well as our increased support of St. Louis charities.”  

The evening will feature local artists, live music by the Dave Becherer Trio, and international harpist Eileen Gannon, with several of the artists “going live” on display working on specific pieces.
